Random Thoughts/Update

So, guys. What's going on? How's life treating ya?

That's good.

Me? Glad you asked. I've been playing a lot of XIV. I must have suffered blunt force trauma while in a drunken stupor because I felt the need to level White Mage. To 60.

I'm also loving it. So yes, blunt force trauma seems likely.

But you know what is even more likely? I'm tired of retarded fucking healers. I know it's a meme these days that everyone blames the healer, and the DPS needs to stop being on fire. But the past few months. I have encountered a retard- class space cruiser full of healers that are doing their job incorrectly.

Or to be precise, doing OTHER people's jobs. Incorrectly. No good, fellas.

See, to me, and probably 103% of people who played XI, the WHM is in charge of keeping the party not dead. That's what all those healy type spells are for.

The undeadification of the masses.

But these days, Cleric Stance is ruling the roost as people are hammering out DPS and trying to heal at the same time. While failing at both. And deadening begins rather rapidly.

Am I against the healer throwing some damage? Of course not. Cleric it up, bitch.  I DPS whenever I can. But there's this mentality these days where everyone should be dealing maximum damage at all times, and I see that as counterproductive.

You're a healer first and foremost. If your party's DPS is lacking, that's not your place to step in. Find new fighters. Don't drop your own role because other people suck. There's a tank somewhere out there who is getting his face bashed in and needs a Cure II.

With the announcement of Red Mage in the new expansion, I wonder if people are going to be holding the same standard and expecting them to help heal.

We'll see what ways elitists can fuck this game up even further. Me? I'm just gonna keep casting Tetragrammaton. Shits lit, fam.
